Dear Colleagues,

We will hold the 1st International Anesthesiology and Reanimation Symposium of the University of Health Sciences on 3-4 December 2021 at Istanbul Bağlarbaşı Congress and Culture Center with your valuable participation. We held the first three symposiums at the national level. Although it was a symposium organized by our department, all three of them were held with increasing interest and enthusiasm. For this reason, we decided to organize the fourth symposium internationally. We expect the same interest and support from you this year.

The rapid national and international development of the University of Health Sciences, Turkey's first health themed University, increases our excitement and strength. We believe that the symposium which we will organize with the attendance of respected scientists in their fields and our Anesthesiology and Reanimation Specialists and Assistants, who work day and night all and make significant contributions to the health service of our country, will make significant contributions in improving our profession. Our colleagues from abroad, who are respected in their fields and known for their scientific research, will also participate in this symposium and contribute to updating our knowledge.

The main theme of our 1st International Symposium has been determined as “Difficult Patient Management in Anesthesiology and Reanimation”. It aims to discuss all the elements and current issues of the ever developing practice of Anesthesiology and Reanimation.

Due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, we have decided to hold the symposium as a hybrid meeting. Suitable places are planned for the physical participation. Necessary conditions will be met for those who want to participate online.

I invite you to Istanbul on 3-4 December 2021 to experience the atmosphere of sharing, interaction and friendship that we all miss for our meetings. With my best regards.

Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, University of Health Sciences
Prof. Dr. Osman Ekinci
