Abstracts

The language of oral presentations at the symposium is English. Study abstracts must be in English. Accepted studies may be presented in Turkish.

Abstracts submitted to the symposium will be evaluated as “oral presentations.”

Submitted abstracts will be evaluated electronically by reviewers.

Your abstract must not exceed 300 words in total, excluding keywords, references, etc.; it must not have been presented and/or published on any platform and must not contain any commercial association.

In-person symposium registration is mandatory for the presenting author. A maximum of two abstracts by the author will be accepted, and the presentation of more than two studies will not be permitted.

Abstracts for the symposium will be accepted only through the form available on this website. Abstracts submitted by e-mail or post will strictly not be accepted.

Accepted studies may be presented by Specialist Physicians, Faculty Members or Resident Physicians. You are kindly requested to select the presenting author accordingly.

Oral presentations accepted for the symposium will be presented at the symposium venue; details will be shared later.

When submitting abstracts, the authors’ stated competition preferences will be taken into account; however, only those receiving high scores as a result of reviewer evaluation will be eligible to participate in the competition.

After the abstract evaluation period is completed, a change of presenting author may only be made among the individuals named in the study and whose symposium registration has been completed; adding a new name will strictly not be possible.

All clinical and experimental studies, human or animal research, must have been conducted within an ethical framework in accordance with European regulatory authorities. If deemed necessary, the Committee may request a copy of the Ethics Committee approval / exemption document. Reviews and meta-analyses do not require ethics approval.

Accepted and presented abstracts will be published as an E-Book on the symposium website. No abstract that is not presented, even if registered, will be included in the abstract book.

In the event of a request to withdraw a submitted abstract, it must be reported to the Symposium Scientific Secretariat by e-mail from the e-mail address of the person indicated as the presenter.

Only abstracts submitted from abroad and accepted will be presented in online sessions on the first day; all other oral presentation sessions will be held as in-person sessions on the second day.
